Im a Room Mom!

Yay! This is where my craftiness obsession will pay off! I love these sort of things!

I've always wanted to be involved with my kids classroom activities!

To start off the year, I have made teacher gifts... Something small, easy to make with my Cricut Explore Air!

Purchased the notebooks and pencils at Target... Ribbon and vinyl I had from my stash...

I'm sure the teachers will love them!

Halloween-Time!!

I'm always so excited when the holidays come around especially since my daughter is in regular preschool now!  Now all the fun craftiness can start!

First up... Halloween classroom treats!!!

This year I used cheap glow sticks found at your local Target or Dollar Tree stores.  I then used a simple free printable and attached the glow sticks behind along with an organic sweet healthy treat!

Can't go wrong with that!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Preschool has started!

Preschool has started in the Mills household!  First time for everything is just around the corner! We are so excited to send Layla to part time preschool and couldn't be more proud of her adjustment to her new life.

It is hard for this Mommy to let her go throughout the day but I have adjusted to accepting my beauty has to grow up and take a step toward her education.

We are so proud of her and can't stop bragging of how well she is doing in school.  New friends, milestones, and endless adventures await our little thrill seeker!

The world is yours baby girl, take it on with that bright smile!

World Cup done, off to Football Season!

This is a late post!

I made these wonderful easy mason jar gifts for all the Dad's for Father's Day and oh man, was it a HIT!

All of the Dad's received their own personal mason jar along with their favorite countries flag colored ribbons!

Even though our team lost in the World Cup, we enjoyed the fun family gatherings, food, and lifetime memories!

Now, it's time to prepare for Football Season! This one is special for us since we are expecting our second child, (IT'S A BOY!) in the fall so we can't wait to dress him up in Arizona Cardinals gear!

Go Cardinals!

I just finished one for Layla for her 3rd birthday and finally had some time to post it for you...

I loved seeing her sit down while I interviewed her with these questions...

I will make a cute little book and insert these questions every year around her birthday time...  Feel free to copy/paste and start your own traditions with your little ones! Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!

Nat, the Mom-Goddess

"I am my BELOVED'S, and he is MINE"
Song of Solomon 6:3

Truly, the most generous man I know is my husband.  He is such a hard working, lovable and caring person.  There's nobody he can't befriend.  I am so thankful that he is my life partner.  My best friend in love, life and crime. HA!

8 month pregnancy photo shoot 2/2011

I thought being married to my best friend was amazing, and to become a mother just adds sparkle to my shine!  We couldn't ask for a more amazing daughter, (now 3 years old).  We can hardly keep up with her growing everyday.  Seems like just last year, we brought her home!  She has taught us so much about ourselves and has given us so much to be proud of.

Quality time at Disneyland...

I enjoy my days chasing my daughter around, being a chauffeur, nurse, chef, mentor and most of all... her best friend! We spend our days together going to Mommy and Me Preschool in Palos Verdes, Swim Classes, seasonal crafting, park play dates and endless Disneyland visits!  I'm so thankful to my husband for encouraging me to be a 'Stay at Home Mom.'  I will forever be grateful and never will regret using this special time watching her grow!

Layla is 3!

In prep of my daughter's 3rd birthday coming up in March, I crafted this lovely Disney birthday banner to hang inside of our hotel room!

It's not a surprise to her since she's been watching me craft the whole thing, but since I'm hiding it, she will still be surprised.  Her favorite characters included, Doc McStuffins, and Ariel!

First, I cut out all of the lettering pieces using my Cricut, and pasted them together...

Then added glitter ribbon in Teal and Purple to attach lettering...

Voila! Easy enough right?

I think the hardest part is to design it, and getting the measurements accurate!  I printed out the Disney character pics on same card stock as the lettering, DONE!  With just a little imagination, anything is possible!  Keep crafting people, it exercises your mind and always keeps you young at heart!

Can't wait for our Disney weekend!
